Remote — Preference for Greenville, SC

This role is ideal for someone who moves quickly, communicates clearly, and understands the value of human connection expressed in video.

What You’ll Do

• Review recorded live video and identify the strongest moments, using AI assistance as necessary

• Edit each video into meaningful segments, each 60 seconds or less

• Add:

  • Clear, compelling titles

  • Clean, accurate captions

• Complete all editing inside Descript or Riverside (no offline video editing tools)

• Export finished clips to our proprietary platform

• Deliver consistently high-quality output on tight timelines

How You’ll Work

• You’ll be a part of a small team of around 10 video editors 

• You’ll be notified when there is a new project available

• You’ll check out a project and begin work on it and complete it within a 4-hour window

• You’ll rely heavily on AI-assisted tools (within Descript and beyond)

• You’ll pair those tools with your own editorial instinct for:

  • Story

  • Clarity

  • Pacing

  • What actually performs as content

• Speed matters, but not at the expense of content credibility

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Descript

• A clear sense for:

  • What makes a moment worth clipping

  • How to structure short-form video so it feels intentional, not chopped

• Excellent written communication (titles, captions, async collaboration)

• Able to follow processes and stay reasonably organized

• Fast response times and reliable availability during agreed-upon hours

• Comfortable working fully online using modern AI tools

• Bonus (not required): Located in or near Greenville, SC
